Simon LETURGIE started his career drawing some short stories for Spirou, using the pseudonym Slet, before embarking on the futuristic 'Polstar' series for Vents d'Ouest. He launched Eigrutel Productions with his father, comics writer Jean Léturgie. He cooperated with his father on a variety of series, including 'Polstar', 'Tékila' (Eigrutel Productions), 'Spoon & White' (with Yann, Dupuis, 1999)'John Eigrutel' (Eigrutel Productions), 'Commedia' (comics based on the work of Molière, Vents d'Ouest), and 'Outretombe' (art by Di Martino, Vents d'Ouest, 2004).
