Gallery Napoleon, a specialist on comic books

RODIER Yves

A comics fan since his childhood, Yves RODIER started out studying music and cinematographic techniques. He eventually returned to comics. As his first project, he took on completing Hergé's unfinished 'Tintin' story 'L'Alph Art'. Although the Hergé Foundation forbid the publication of Rodier's tribute, he did use the strip to present himself to publishers. It also got him in touch with European artists like Bob De Moor, François Walthéry, Jacques Martin and Greg. It 1995, Rodier was contacted by Daniel and Richard Houde, founders of the magazine Pignouf. He joined the team and became the artist of the title comic 'Pignouf et Hamlet'. The magazine only lasted for five issues, but the series was continued at the publishing house Mille-Îles.
